No idea about Comcast since I don't use em, but for a router I can't recommend the Apple AirPort Express enough: http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/

I have one, bought it for $80 refurbished, and it's amazing. Comes with Wireless N tech, so you're set for whatever the future holds. I'm signed up for 12MB/sec with Cox Internet, but get 26MB a second with the router.
