Hey guys, I need a little help please. I have a denon 3808CI and definitive technology BP7002's with a C/L/R 2500 center with bp2x surrounds. For those that don't know the BP7002's have built in 12" subs with their own built in 300 watt amps. I have not been running the LFE from the reciever until today. I plugged my y adapter in the sw jack on the back of the receiver and plugged a sub cable into each side then plugged them into the back of the BP7002's. It now sounds as if everything is quiter, and when I turn everything off the BP7002's amps don't turn off anymore. After 30 seconds of the system being off the subs start to make a rumble ever so slightly and I can feel them vibrating with my hand. I tried setting the speakers to both small and large and also set the sub to lfe+main. I am not really concerned about the volume being quieter, but don't want my subs vibrating all day every day. What should I do?

This is from the Manual.

If you try everything and the trouble doesn't go away. Connect the LFE cables to the Front Speakers' pre-outs on the back of your receiver. In the receiver's menu, set the front speakers to LARGE, all other speakers to SMALL with a crossover of 80Hz, and the subwoofer to NO. Adjust the level of bass on the back of the front speakers so that the bass sound blends well with the other speakers' output. |

I bought 2 of these : http://store.audioholics.com/product...ae72563ba0c896 and this : http://store.audioholics.com/product...dapter-y-cable I don't see anywhere the cables saying they are RG6 shielded. Maybe that is my problem? I made sure the cables were not touching the speaker wires or power cords for any of my equipment. I can leave them plugged into the receiver and leave one tower hooked up then tap the other end for the tower I unplugged and it will make the other tower thump. I am confused. Will using the front speaker preouts still give me .1? That is the only reason I got this as I was told on another thread I was missing .1 thanks for the replies guys! With the pre-out connection, you will still get .1 channel. Who told you that you don't. I need to wack him on the head. ![]() There are two types of information that go to the subwoofer:
