Sounds like a good experience. I called and put my order in for a 92 as well. A little surprised they didn't double box but if no harm done, then no biggie.
I'll report back with my experience once I get it and try it out.

I was a little surprised at that too, but its not like its coming from Amazon or whatever.

To the people who bought Pio Elites from this vendor at videogon, did you get receipts that are from an authorized Pio Elite shop as confirmed on the Pio website? The warranty issue concerns me. I'm pretty hesitant about this deal.

I am curious are all the Pioneer Elites manufactured in Japan?

Or are these of cheaper build quality coming out of China?

My 94 is from Malsysia.
But my 95 is from Japan.

But all the elites carry the same warranty and use tested parts. That is why they are more expensive than the standard models.

How's this for fast? I ordered yesterday and received today! Granted, I'm in the same state but that is fast and I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to pay sales tax though. Still a great deal.
Any tips on setting this bad boy up? Looks daunting....

Wow, this sounds like a great deal on the 92. I wonder if ABT or Tweeter by me will match the price. Has anyone tried a PM at a B&M like Tweeter?

ABT is usually good if they can cover their margin over cost. But cost on this unit sounds like $700, so that would only be about a 14% margin for them.

If not, I am in Illinois so should be no sales tax and I am not far from WI.
