In my opinion you don't need 1080p for a 42" unless you are sitting really close. If you will be about 8 feet away, your eyes cant even see the difference. And for me the anti-glare was useless cause i can control the light in my room. Frys has this tv for 899.99 with free shipping... I paid 999 a month ago. But if you do decide on the 1080p... go for it.. especially panasonic... everywhere i hear they make the best plasmas.... next to pioneer.
Thanks for the advice! My bedroom is pretty tiny and the TV's only going to be about 6 feet away so the "1080p" will be slightly visible. The Panasonic's in Best Buy always look really nice, so I think I might do it. I'm glad your enjoying your purchase.
