I don't think Avatar should take the Oscar, but I will say I haven't been as entertained at the movies as I had been when I saw Avatar in a very long time, maybe even ever, and that's what I see most movies for, entertainment.

Avatar is more than just a popcorn flick. Transformers 2 (which I like) is a popcorn flick! Avatar is actually a very good movie. I know the great visuals and things of that nature would make it seem like a popcorn flick buts it much more than that. I do agree about watching movies for entertainment also. Got Em!!
