Default HD-DVD users coming to terms?

I did some thinking about it, we are currently seeing all 5 stages from the HD-DVD crowd,

1. Denial, have you ever seen HD-DVD'ers talking about how they will win the format war, talking about how the $200 HD-DVD player will win the format war for them etc...

2. Bargaining, I'm sure you've all heard the argument co-existence, after seeing they are losing the format war, they want to stop the player they bought, and the discs from being useless, the answer to this is co-existence.

3. Anger... ever run into a HD-DVD fanboy? Ever tried having a civil debate with the HD-DVD users? if they don't spout misinformation they get angry, like an animal trapped in a corner, no one likes to realize a mistake.

4. Despair, this one puzzled me for a bit until I realized, the argument that says if we don't resolve this format war ASAP then both BD and HD-DVD will disappear, as the public will lose interest. but right now both sides are getting more sales per quarter then the quarter the preceded it...

5. Accecptance, lately I've started to hear people moving to BD from HD-DVD

so I'm curious am I stretching this argument or do I make a valid point?
