Why, there was 'Highlander' and 'Minority Report' just to name two,
with the latter being in a similar package as 'Avatar' would be.

Relax guys, if it showed up once, it'll be back.

And I am with Tiger on this one, this one will probably get a zillion releases.

True.

Was really looking forward to this one though.
Seems weird its now deleted, as it looked pretty official and finalized looking at the picture of it all.

Yeah, I think it will be back, it's not like they removed a pre-order-page or something right?
The package is probably already done for the way it will be sold, they're not just going to throw that away now.
It looks just like some other releases, so it will probably be out this way.
Unless someone decided like "It's not special enough." or something. :P

Im thinking that the release date may have been delayed, and that the pre order page went up to early?

It was removed at the request of the studio, not all details have been finalized and should be back shortly. Someone jumped the gun at Play

As I pointed out in another thread, I received the Fox planning for the next three months. No mention of Avatar, thought a picture of the movie is on a double page display (with no text).

To be quite frank, I think there's a lot of behind the scenes going on about this, hence the april date (which I leaked on the web) that was then moved, then back, then playing yoyo depending whom you talk to.

Wait and see (and go see it in IMAX again)

US has/had a release date, Its the foreign entities that usually are a month or two behind that. I guess they are still milking the theatrical run

good find, must be crazy if they want £29.99 for it though ! and they'll need to clarify if its an actual Steelbook or tin, as in the title it says Steelbook but in the description it says Steel Tin?

"This title will be released on April 26, 2010."

Really?? I'm quite skeptical.
BTW what's that survival guide?
