Unless you are stuck on Onkyo, you should consider Yamaha, Denon or Marantz-not necessarily in that order-if high quality sound is important to you. Although Onkyo's mid-level receivers sport excellent features, quality audio reproduction suffers in all but their top of the line models. Don't take my word. Do your own research and more importantly, listen for yourself.
