I agree, although I tend to prefer more arcade like racers myself. (Burnout, NFS, Midnight Club etc.)

I even read from one guy's review at teamxbox.com that after a month, YOU WILL get tired/bored from playing PGR 3.

I downloaded the demo and I was bored with it in 20 minutes.

I mean if you're even an Xbox or MS fan, why on earth would you buy this POS racing game when the upcoming Forza 2 would be the more worthy one?

Because PGR3 was a launch title and pretty much all the 360 had going for it shy of Burnout and NFS: Most Wanted, two games I enjoy immensely more than PGR3, although you'll see some snooty responses from people about that.

It's all about taste. Burnout and NFS:MW kicked the crap out of PGR3 in terms of being fun games, although PGR3 might get a nod for better graphics and sound, but not by much IMO.

IMO, PGR 3 stains the reputation of XBOX racing games. Forza should've cannibalized it ever since the start of XBOX.

I think it's overrated myself.

But look at Ridge Racer 7 and it's a totally different story.

I watched the video of it and wow, I've never been so hyped-up about a console racing game EVER. Sure it may lack variety (just like previous RR games) but I mean, you get a cool system music in the start, nice drifting capabilities, cool graphics theme (blue color) and UI/GUI, the ability to use nitrous boost and slipstream (at first for RR games) and what's more....you can go over 400 KILOMETERS PER HOUR!!!

I mean, Initial D has 200+ Km/h, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 has 300 km/h but at 400 km/h ++, this one takes the cake.

And what's more, it supports multiple resolutions which includes 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p (with up 60 fps option)

This game fortunatley doesn't suffer the issues that 720p games like Resistance have on 1080i-only displays. Unlike Resistance, where 1080 resolutions ARE NOT officialy supported atm (wherein the PS3 must do the work and the TV must have the ability to accept), this game supports multiple resolutions SO NO VISUAL PROBLEMS SINCE DAY ONE (based on AVS forum reviews)

And there you have it, Ridge Racer 7 delivers and will indeed kick the ass of PGR for life

RR7 will almost certainly be more fun to play than PGR3, at least for me.

I can't believe I'm actually halfway tempted to buy a damn RR game!

I pray that either PGR games WILL NEVER get released or they SLASH the game price by AT LEAST 50% xD

Without it, PGR series is waste on Xbox 360 and you'd rather get Forza series instead of this POS bullcrap. Then just add it to your main PS3 racing games which include Ridge Racer 7 plus the upcoming Gran Turismo games.

I ask myself again on why Bizarre even wasted time to create this game at all....

My game comes in March: Burnout 5. NFs: Carbon is ok but I'm not going to pay $60 for it. Burnout 5 will be a must-buy that first day title for me all the way.

Where's the next Midnight Club game? That last game was AWESOME arcade racing. I can't wait for the next one!
