I can only imagine how it must look on one of the newer 1080p sets!

The audio in the scene where home tree is brought down was probably heard by my neighbors (and I have only a modest "boutique" level speaker system)!

WOW! 10/10 in both video and audio quality!

I checked my reward zone online and turns out after all this time there was a $10 certificate I could use toward anything I want at best buy. GEE! I wonder what Im gonna get.

I can inform you that the (European) BD of Avatar works fine on a Sony BDP-S300 and Panasonic BD60. Should be the same BD+ as the US.

An the firmware on both Players is from 2009.

Why? It's still a Blu-ray disc and has to be made to Blu-ray specs. Is the disc made any different? Is it made with stuff from IronMan's chest or something?

^ That's false, i have the blu since 2 days ago, watched it with no problems on my ps3 slim.

Frozen, sometimes, because of what features the disc/movie uses, it may need a firmware update for it to run, don't freeze on menus etc. I remember this was the case with the Terminator Salvation Blu, many had to upgrade

the blu-ray spec is still changing-

fox is using a new copy protection on this disk which probably explains the need for a firmware update-
