Picked mine up from Walmart for 19.96 but a bit dissapointed that there is no digital copy. I myself travel quite a bit so it would have been nice to have a digital copy but oh well.

I watched about half an hour of my Avatar Blu-Ray during my lunch break today.

Without going into too many details, it is without a doubt 5 star quality in both audio and video.

My only complaint, and it's a very small complaint, is that the colors are a bit over saturated for my tastes. However, I think Cameron intended for it to be that way, so it doesn't really detract from my opinion of the PQ. The amount of detail in this movie is just ridiculous... never seen anything like it.

As far as audio goes, the soundtrack is a very busy one. It's well balanced though. Voices are very well done. It's a very bass heavy sound track, but I don't think we will be treated to many moments of extremely deep bass. I'll chime in a bit more on that after I've watched the rest of it tonight. Either way, my sub was getting a workout from the get go.

Umm... this is definitely a matter of opinion. I'd give it a 2/5 myself

Resume playback is also available in Jennifer's Body (a destroy disc feature would have been better) and the Magnolia release of Red Cliff part 1 and 2.

I tried seaching through about 20 pages of this thread, but unfortunately couldn't come up with any definitive information.

Where am I gonna find the best bundle at? I don't necessarily care about price. I saw a few people mention an Eco pack at Target? Is that the extent of any sort of special edition from the likes of a Wal-Mart, Target, Best buy, etc.? What should I be looking for.

Mine came about 4 hours early

It was in an eco case. I don't despise the eco cases, but I prefer my more favored titles to be in the sturdier regular cases; so I just swapped it out with my Mission Impossible II case.

Watching it right now.

Why would he rate it if hasnt watched it yet? I think he has and thats his opinion which he has a right to, it might not agree with what we think of the movie [I personally give the movie a 4/5, aint no District 9, the PQ on the other hand has to be given a 6/5 from the looks of it] but there will be plenty of people who will go "meh" when they watch.

I would take the 2-D Blu over the Real 3-D theatre experience anyday!!! These colors didn't pop like this with those glasses on!
