Since your not a comic book nerd like me you should really buy/rent the first ff4 movie before watching silver surfer. Its a sweet film but you will have a much better understanding if you watch the first one. Same goes for x-men ect. Btw FF2 is a awsome movie with kick ass effects your in for a treat!
