Actually, I have ALWAYS wanted to see him make a Star Wars type movie, and this might just be the closest thing to it. Can you just imagine what he would have done with one of those prequel movies?

However, due to Avatar, everybody wants to see a typical Cameron blockbuster and not a smaller, more intimate movie. I personally think there's no doubt that Avatar will be next, no matter what people say. ...Cameron also said he intends to personally dedicate himself to helping the industry adopt 3-D without creating a consumer backlash.

That will include continuing to create quality 3-D content, like a sequel to "Avatar," which he estimated will take about 3 years to make — 18 months less than it took the first.
