I'll just throw out a show of hands for how many have actually SEEN Psycho II?

Yes, the critics howled at the time, but you had Richard ("Patrick") Franklin who'd worked with Hitchcock, one of the first breakout screenplays by then-unknown Tom Holland (THE greatest horror genius of the 80's), Vera Miles, the same Universal set, and Tony Perkins looking like he hadn't aged a day since 1960.

...Now THAT'S how you do a horror sequel.

I have a soft spot for those mid to late eighties sequels. I voted for TCM 2 because it might be the craziest of the bunch but I wouldn't argue with Evil Dead 2 or Phantasm 2 either.

Quite liked Amityville II: The Possession. My favourite of that series thus far. Different approach than most horror movies.

I would have voted for Psycho II. I really enjoyed the whole 'whodunit' story-line, along with the 'never seen it coming' ending. Anthony Perkins was a fantastic actor!

I hate that this poll is closed. Anyways, if I had to go with any of those on the list, it would probably be Halloween II. I like how it picks right up where the first one ended and how it actually stays pretty suspenseful. I didn't like the likes of Friday the 13th Part 2 and ANOES Part 2 very much.

Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn in most fun, but in terms of quality I might just have to go with Halloween II
