He's under contract for about 3-4 years with Colorado I believe. So fat chance.

Ubaldo is probably one of the top 10 players in baseball in terms of trade value. The Yankees aren't going to give up all their top prospects for a pitcher. They've already got 3 proven starters, they don't need another.

Mixing up the Yanks and Sox. They've got Pettitte, Sabathia, and Burnett. Phil Hughes has been very good this year too, but hasn't shown he can do it in the postseason like the others.

Right, right. Pettite is incredible, especially considering he's very old. Not sure why I thought Beckett and Dice-K were Yankees.

Worked for the 2008 Brewers, who made the postseason after firing their manager in September. Different situation though, since the Brewers weren't a last place team, plus they had Sabathia pitching absolutely lights out. I don't think firing the manager is a bad idea for the Orioles. They're already the worst team in baseball, so it's not like they can go any lower.

Ya, that should do it. It was the manager causing the Orioles decade plus of futility. It couldn't be the aweful ownership, GM and team full of stiffs causing them to stink.

No they are a big part as-well, but if you watch almost all the games like I do, I see plenty of management related problems almost everyday, from leaving guys in to long, bullpen issues, fundamentals that should be worked on, FALLING ASLEEP during games , questionable morale/ leadership abilities.

I'm not mentally challenged I know quite well how bad this staff is and how inconsistent the lineups are, so I don't expect this to be fixed in 1 to maybe 3 years, but I'm happy they acknowledged the glaring failure that Trembley was.

Ya..I'm impressed with him this season. I think he'll call it quits after this year. Like Mussina, he'll probably want to exit on top.
