EXTREMELY excited here. This is one of my faves and pretty underrated when talk of Eastwood's best come up.

got mine in the mail from amazon today. no special features(other than the theatrical trailer) but it looks and sounds great especially for a movie thats over 20 years old.

Wish they had some kind of History channel special on the conflict, although it was not most of the movie. Post a review. Others need to know about the PQ. I will wait for a price drop, especially with no extras.

I was excited about this release....guess the movie came out at a good point in MY past and I wanted to re-visit. After reading the review, so-so picture, NO extras....I'm sadened.

I too will wait for the price to drop under $9.99. Something tells me that may not take long.

I watched this recently and I don't agree with the review. I Thought it looked good. At least 4/5 for PQ, at least compared to other 4/5 reviews that have been given by this site.

Interview with a vampire got a 3.5/5 I believe and it looks better than that.

That is good to hear after the review saying it was only a moderate success in terms of picture quality. This is a fun movie. I could not believe I had not heard of it, when I made it a blind buy a couple of years ago. Most people I show it to have never heard of it either, but usually end up liking it. It is a shame that are no special features though. I shall have to think hard about whether or not to upgrade my DVD on this one.
