BTTF probably won't be on any High Def disc until a year at least.

yeah, BTTF was late to DVD too. It's all about patience...

BTTF was not only late but Universal SCREWED IT UP MAJORLY! And the funny thing is that they still haven't fixed it completely. For American R1 versions, that's fine but not for R3! People are still wondering if it's safe to buy this release. I just hope that by the time Universal gets the HD version done, the framing would be correct.
