I Gave praise to many components of the movie and rated it 3 stars. How does that make me an Armond? I liked it, just not as much as some people.

Wow man. It’s probably one of the most distinctive sci-fi films I’ve seen since “The City of Lost Children.” Didn’t care for that one, but once I got into “Brazil,” I was mesmerized up to its delirious ending.

Visually, it’s excellent. The imagery, whether in a dream sequence or hard gritty reality, is fantastic all the way through. The quality of the sets, props, costumes, effects, and everything is distinctive and wild. The camera angles are awesome. Acting is great, writing is good, music is interesting; everything about this film is wonderful and imaginative.

The story has its ups and downs, but it’s a heck of a ride. It has a lot of action and suspense, which is always a plus. Loads of interesting scenes!

They jam-packed a huge number of details into it; even though the story focuses on the main characters’ pursuits, there’s a lot going on in the environment and with the characters around him that really resonate with modern social and technological issues. In many respects, I think some things in the film could become a frightening reality; greedy consumerism, ridiculous bureaucracy, power-mad authority, rampant industrialization, and ultimately, the repression of all that makes us human (including the repression of love and emotion). I was even surprised to hear one or two blips about terrorism, which eerily reflected on what’s going on today.

We need this on Blu-Ray, pronto!!!

Hey if i offended anyone in this thread my bad. I just like to argue, its in my blood so dont take offenses to it.

But ill play nice from now on. Little do you know when you guys rate a movie high you make me want to see it, not to criticize your rating but so see what a good movie is to you.

I have seen it, just put the comment in spoiler tags. I am just curious because I had a couple issues and want to see if they are the same things you noticed.

Overall though, I rate the film a little higher, 4/5.

Like I said, I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like the kind of film that you'd like. By all means watch it, I was just warning you that it probably won't be the "masterpiece" that you might expect

Knight and Day

Movie- 2/5

when i first saw this trailer I thought it was funny and it looked like Cruise was back.. however i was very wrong, the movie just didnt do anything for me, the action was over the top bad and the comedy scenes just kept missing.. oh well im glad i finally got around to seeing this and its safe to say it wouldnt kill me if i never saw this again
