When I first heard about this blu-ray thing I dismissed it. I remember saying foolishly "DVD is good enough, how much better can it get?"

This was when I still had a CRT with 480p. Then my friend bought a Samsung 40" LCD with 1080p and a PS3 and some blu-ray titles. I was blown away and quickly decided it was time to upgrade my tv and pick up a PS3. But I still said to myself "I won't let this get out of hand, I will only buy new releases on BD." Then I said "I will only replace my favorite titles with BD versions." Now it's snowballed out of control. I find myself buying at least one title every week on BD. I am slowly replacing my entire collection of 200+ DVDs.

It's a sickness that I don't want a cure for!

My name's Patrick, and I was clean for about a week. Then had a Blu-lapse when Halloween came out. I'm a sucker for Horrors.

There will be no presents for family and friends this year; just xmas cards from dollartree.

I wish I had this kind of money too. i'm going to need to cut back soon. but I am truly an addict. thank god for overtime. otherwise i'd be in big trouble.

I just got my fix for LFoDH and Rescue Dawn and already got the shakes for Paprika and Superbad. Going to my dealer after work to look for a temporary fix, I am thinking Assassin's Creed.

between march and september 2007, I only had 3 BD titles. By now, it raised to 32 titles, and by the end of the year, it will be 35 (if I can hold myself not to buy BD - if not, then maybe more). So, 30 days, I bought a total of 29 BDs
