I have started a New Riser for the 12 inch sub . It will consist of 2 parts , A base & then the riser !

Here is the base & you will have to wait for the riser

Put a driver in the base and make it a subwoofer.

I have not finished it Aero . I will finish the riser at work tomorrow I hope & then start the Pre-finish part on Sunday . And Yes ~ Mozambique !

I have made several subwoofer Risers & just finished my 4th one .

These are the first 2 I built & are now out of the picture & completely taken apart

First one ~


Second one ~

Then Big Daddy sent me a Monster Box That I put a 15" Driver in & was the first for me into the Passive sub world I immediately changed my other 2 subs to Passive This was the Riser I built for it !





I have just finished the forth sub riser with a stand to rise it even higher
The new stand has the 12" on top of it & am planning on ordering a new driver for it this week so all three subs have aluminum drivers in them .

They look very good, but you are getting crazier every day. Pretty soon, we should change your name to carzierBlue.

As I predicted before, you will eventually attach your subwoofers to the ceiling.

I have been busy adding a Clark Synthesis Tactile Transducers under my sofa. I got a very good deal on a brand new unopened one from a dealer on Ebay. The normal price is $135 at Amazon or Parts Express, but I only paid $115 plus free shipping. I also finished converting the other 8" under-the-sofa subwoofer to a passive one. I ended up frying the plate amp that came with it. I will post some pictures later.

No Ceilings ~ But at this rate they will get close

Please enlighten me on the Tactile Transducers ~ What are they for & What do they do ? Is it like a bass shaker for the couch ?

Crazy, are you raising the subs to that height because that's where they measure best? Are you just placing the subs at ear height? The stands look nice btw, I imagine they weigh the better part of a ton.
