Anyways yesterday thanks to you guys I went and bought one of these badboys form CC and so far I'm really impressed. I do have a few ?'s that maybe someone here could answer. First in when I play a disk that is TrueHD, on the Onkyo screen I'm not getting the output of TrueHD and I dont know why. I'm I really getting the TrueHD or not. A little bit of what I'm using is a PS3 using a optical cable to run my sound. Do you maybe have to run your sound through a HDMI cable to get it? Also how many use the Auddessy sound settings? I used it but some of its measurements were kinda strange for me, in particular the SW it show it at like 30 foot away... and its like maybe 7 foot max. Also it had its sound setting at like -30.. Anyways thanks in advance for any help.

yes, you need an HDMI cable to listen to dolby trueHD, Uncompressed PCM..from the PS3.

Are you using component for video? you can still use an HDMI cable for audio at the same time so you do have the ability to hear TrueHD, you just need an hdmi cable. (optical cable is not capable)
