Armageddon is not OOP, unless you are talking about the double thick case, which has been reduced down to a normal size with a fliptray.

And as for the image entertainment, they have the commentary and are 16:9 but one of the main reasons I, and many others, prefer criterion is their superior image and sound quality.

I had them all before they went OOP except for Dead Ringers and Flesh / and Blood. The rest of the titles I already owned.

The IMAGE releases for Blood and Flesh are better than the Criterion releases because they are 16:9 and seem to be the same transfers just anamorphic. This is just what I have read. Also IMAGE ENT. distributes Criterion titles as of a couple years ago, so it is kind of still under their umbrella of sorts.

I just think Criterion did better cover art work etc for the titles. So I will hold onto them for sure, but I own the Image Entertainment titles also.

I remember purchasing This is Spinal Tap on DVD back around the time it was released on DVD, and at that time heard of the film but never had seen it. Luckily I never got rid of it etc.

Contempt I had sold once i heard the BLU was coming out then when Criterion lost the rights I quickly grabbed up a replacement copy of the Criterion for the bonus features and commentary track. I now own the Studio Canal BD though.

I've got:

Silence of The Lambs
Robocop
Time Bandits
Dead Ringers
Blood For Dracula
The Blob

Out of curiousity, are Rushmore, Spartacus and Brazil still in print (I got those too)? Luckily, I got all of these at retail (except for Rushmore, which I found at Half Price Books used for $7.99......suckers). Got into DVD too late to snag The Killer, Hard Boiled, This Is Spinal Tap, and Sid & Nancy, which I regret (although, the in-character Spinal Tap commentary takes some of the sting out of missing that one).

Silence of the Lambs and Ran are the only two I have. I used to have more, such as Robocop, but I sold them off over time.

Ahh, okay. Nevermind then. I have the small case.

I don't know. I don't think so. I remember Brazil getting a re-release/remaster on DVD though. I have the original, big three disc box-set of that film.

I to have the original box set of Brazil not the rereleased anamorphic edition. But a quick way to check to see if a movie is out of print is to go to the criterion site and just search the movie you are looking for. If they sell it through their store then it is not OOP.

On Blu-ray, I have:

The Third Man
The Man Who Fell To Earth
Pierrot Le Fou

Although it sure doesn't seem like the last two are OOP based on how easy they are to obtain online still.

On DVD, I have:

Rebecca
Hard Boiled

I used to have The Silence of the Lambs, Robocop, Sid and Nancy, and This Is Spinal Tap, but I sold those. I'm kinda PO'd about Spinal Tap. I put it up on eBay after the initial press release for the MGM Blu-ray indicated that all the Criterion extras were being ported over.

The Third Man, The Man Who Fell To Earth, and Pierrot Le Fou on blu-ray. Silence of the Lambs on DVD. I'm pretty sure everything else I have is still in print.

Thumbs up The Man Who Fell To Earth.

I bought The Man Who Fell To Earth on ebay. Brand new wrapped for $30.00, it turned into $26.97 after I used my ebay bucks. I tried to find it in stores in my area, but I could not find a single copy. I would have saved about $2.00 by buying it on Amazon after it went oop, but oh well that's not much. I that movie.
