EDIT: I just got your joke. lol
Actually, it's interesting that you reply with that regardless of the joke. I always find the cues interesting, especially since I've been involved with productions on a directorial level before and I'm also really into music. I'm taking a course on film scores next semester in my university, so it is definitely an interesting topic for me.

Film scoring is actually a side-profession of mine. I'm mostly a director and writer, but I love to work on the scores as well. So I nerd out when I can identify a film score instantly.

I can recognise score from other movies were used as temp on most Hollywood recent movies, just by listening to the actual soundtrack, for example, in Rambo 4, when Rambo is forging is knife, the temp score is from Terminator 2, it's the whole scene when the T-800 is getting riddled by cops bullets and shot them in the knee, then steal the truck. Just listen to both again...

Funnily, many of Cameron film scores are used as temp for many movies...

James Horner, Hans Zimmer, etc tend to be used for temp scores a lot.

Amazon.com --- I ordered it with FIGHT CLUB where they had the promotion of ordering a movie along with AVATAR & get $5 off, which Already was taken off; so I'm not sure (nor do I care! ) where the $3.40 off came from.

My copy is finally being "prepared for shipment" by Amazon. I think there are laws in Canada that prevent our Amazon from shipping before the release date, which really sucks as I would have liked to have had this by tomorrow.

A bit off-topic, but I'd just like to link to a certain video which shows why this movie and its messages are so important.

"Camera catches bulldozer destroying Sumatra tiger forest" . The title speaks for itself, and after seeing it, I am SO disgusted with the human race. Recorded in May, this year...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu-6taW9JNk

It's just like in the movie...

Do you mind me asking what you've worked on? Just curious to see where your film-making interests lie, and how your smaller budgets (I assume smaller; I doubt you're secretly Spielberg hiding in the corner) affect the films you make?

Actually, I could ask you a million questions all day. I'm very curious about how somebody gets into the film-making industry. PM me how you did it? I don't mean to be invasive or anything of the sort - I am actually very curious.

Lucky bastards the lot of you. Hoping mine comes in today, but according to Amazon, it's still in Mesquite, TX, and arrived there at 9am. Gahhhh that's only 3-4 hours from Austin. Come on UPS, just drive here already! You could have been here by now!

Slightly larger than a standard BD, but smaller than a DVD. Something along the lines of the same size as most Criterion box set BDs like Che, Seven Samurai, The Leopard, Breathless, and Yojimbo & Sanjuro box set.
