Have you ever seen what happens to a cd when put in the microwave??? That may be the best way out for those hd dvds.

Yes i have, but if there is a way i can find to switch the HD Crap to BD, then i would rather take advantage of it.

Burn them = still counts as movies sold - BAD
Return them to WalMart, exchange for 2 Blu-ray's = -2 HD DVD, +2 BLU - GOOD

If you have a Costco or a similar warehouse club (i'm not sure how wide spread they are.) You can return them as long as they aren't open for costco cash, as long as you have a costco card, but i think theres a limit for returns without reciept.

again if you read my initial post, I am pissed off about people still being confused about the product. i grateful, i don't have a problem with what i got, just the fact i got HD DVD to play on my PS3. HOW WOULD THAT WORK?

Don't worry Xmas is coming and you can return just about anything the following day but you may get store credit. Most likely you can probably easily exchange it for some nice Blu...

Best Buy should take them as long as they are unopened and they are in their computer. I did this to a couple HD DVDs that I had gotten. No receipt. They didn't even question, just gave me a gift card with store credit.
