Here in Finland, it's also exclusive to just one online store as well.

Damn, that is Very Sweet looking!! (even better maybe if it were the same color Blue as Jake Sully was in the film, but, lol, Not a deal breaker). I want one! Do you have a link to those so I can take a closer look (?), specifically the Back so I can see what it might say as far Regions for discs 2 & 3. Thanks - Great pics!

The content is the same as the 3-disc US one, only with 3 DVDs in addition to the Blu-rays.

Those are the only pics I can find online, but I can take some photos myself once I receive the set.

The place where I ordered from don't deliver outside Finland, but you might have better luck with some Swedish stores that might stock it. That's all I know about it I'm afraid, sorry!

That looks like a Danish site. So not where I ordered mine from. Also, I don't think there are pics of the rear of the Ultimate Set box online, or at least I haven't seen any.

So I've got a few questions that have never been answered.

What will the new version of this Blu-ray contain? I know it comes with extra bonus content, but will it look and sound just as good as the bare-bones version? Or will the prior bare-bones version still be better as far as picture and sound quality go?

Edit: Apparently, according to the review, the picture quality and sound quality is the same as the standalone version. My question now is, should I double dip? Or not?

Are you interested in bonus material, and/or a longer cut of the movie? If the answer to either of them or both is 'yes', then go for it.

It's the other way around. I wrote about the Scandinavian edition a few pages back, which is the one you've pictured, and the movie disc, disc 1, is locked to B, while the bonus discs, disc 2 & 3, are region free (ABC). I checked out the bonus discs, and contrary to the US discs, they've got various subtitles, but none in English, for some odd reason.

Are you talking about the THX trailer? If so, it is also on Aliens and Indiana Jones and the KOTCS, if you have either of those.

Yeah I am. And I have Indy 4 but that THX trailer is only encoded with Dolby Digital, whereas the one on Avatar is DTSHD-MA. I just got a new receiver and the HD tracks on my Blu-rays sound pristine
