Remember not everybody buys their movies from Amazon. I just placed an order for the 5 HP movies directly from WHV. Don't worry about this little victory if they have one. HD-DUD will not win the week guaranteed.

I think more of us have been buying from B&W stores more this month because of the delayed shipping amazon has been doing. Some reason amazon says that I will get Blade Runner before the 24th & The Simpsons After the 24th, they are both released the same day, even when I click 2 day shipping ![]() Last edited by clyon; 12-12-2007 at 06:20 PM. |

I really hope the Nielsen figures will show because last week's were a bit feeble. This Friday's figures will show what Pirates did. Next week are perhaps the most important figures as they will show how Harry Potter did. crossing my fingers for those

Is 76/24 the highest Blu-Ray has ever gotten?
Why is Planet Earth HD-DVD having such a sales increase? |

Not too shabby. It's just frustrating to see everything shaping up in a way that this whole thing would have been sooo over by now without the Paramount defection.
The Planet Earth HD DVD continues to amaze. On the one hand it still signifies new customers, but on the other hand it just shows how horrible regular movies are selling for HD DVD. |

Also, some have noted that a lot of people may be confused about what HD-DVD is, and the requirement to have a HD-DVD player to purchase it. You can easily see _housewife01 go out and purchase it because it says HD and it says DVD, which must mean it's a DVD in high def. I'm sure that's a lot of it. Who knows? Who cares. |

76:24 is a good showing, but hunker down for next week. Bourne should do well, as should HP.
Bourne will be the last possible red week in 2007. I am surprised that no week has gone red, as a betting man would have thought either Shrek3 or TF (especially TF) should have gone red. |
