I just submitted an old German release of Cop Land that is not in the database. Both the German and English audio tracks on this release are encoded in a misery 384kbps (instead of the usual 640kbps), which is not available in the dropdown list. I never thought I will say this but the Canadian Alliance release of this title will be a better choice for anyone interested in this movie.

I agree, I love the idea! When you state upload/suggest though, are these one in the same, the same as submissions, that they need to be approved?

I understand why it wasn't done in the past as I can see it could be easily abused. I do like it the way it has been, uniform as it's only managed by a few.

Its alright, I cropped and darkened the colors a tad.
iceman will have to comment on exact size because I am not 100% sure

What size file would be the best for the site?

Well if you can produce high quality scans anything between 700 pixels tall to
2000, and under 1.3 or so MB for the largest, should be ok

Scanning a 6.7" tall cover at 300dpi that's about 2000 pixels tall with 7:1 or more compression making it 1.3 MB or less. Resized half size if it has some irregularities in the scan = about 1000 pixels tall, would get you excellent results quite below under 1MB, etc.
