If anything, the beauty of the trailers (at least the ones I've seen) is that they haven't spoiled much of the story. I have no idea what to expect (aside from some wild-looking gunfighting and the city curling up for some reason... ). Much better than those trailers that reveal every plot point in 2 minutes.

Sorcerer's Apprentice 3.5/5, transfer 5/5, awesome movie, this is the third time I've seen it, will probably be the 4th time this weekend in Dallas. Not sure why Nicholas Cage is so hated he's always been one of my favourite actors.

he has all his movies (blu-ray an whatever is still on dvd). we joke that he has a man crush on him and for his last birthday we bought him like, 7 different nicolas cage posters and hung them all over his apartment good times.

i now ask him (because Cage has no money) if he's gonna start sending him money to show his love to him

I think one of these days I'm going to hang pictures of girls my sister think are good actresses all over her room. Will watch Avatar and Inception tomorrow for sure, watching a taping of an NBA game tonight.

actually i won't have negative things to say about it / i know the story because i've already read the plot and deliberately read all the spoilers, which really hammers home that i now have no reason to watch it - no surprises to be included if i view it now

yes, i went ahead and spoiled the movie for myself. why? not real sure but i just have little interest in seeing the film and i don't care if the twists and spoilers are spoiled for me. it's not something i care about so knowing it without watching it within the film means nothing to me personally.

i've actually been doing this all day today - finding films i haven't seen with major spoilers and then read them so i know so i don't have to watch the film itself. most of the films i've looked up i've been meaning to see for years now. and since i haven't, chances are i never would, so no logic in not knowing what the hub bub is.

in the definite minority here i know, but i just don't care anymore.

yeah the trailers are puzzling to say the least (first time i saw the city curling deal that was a definite "wtf?" moment)

You really should give it a try. It didnt work for me, at all, but you should at least see it once.

i was debating it, but deliberately ruined it by already reading all about it. so now i really have no urge to see it.

Best movie of the year for me and a lot of people but you have already made up your mind so no reason to try to convince you to see it.

I watched it yesterday for the first time and as I posted in another forum, I really think people should at least watch it once. I thought it was great and to me it is the type of movie that you need to watch multiple times to dissect it and to really understand the many aspects of the movie. I place it at the top, next to The Fountain, Triangle, Moon, etc. as far as the after-effect it has and how you take it with you after you watch it. I had no idea what it was but after watching it, I look forward to watching it again.

all movies i enjoy, but for some reason, this just never really made me interested or curious. i was gonna watch it last night, but amazon's on demand service wasn't working and then i watched some trailers today and just lost any urge to see it.

I avoided EVERYTHING except the original teaser trailer before seeing the film. All I knew was it had something to do with a dream. I was let down by the movie, not that I didn't like it, I was let down because I didn't love it. I was hoping for great and got good (4/5).

I want to see it again with more realistic expectations before I make that score final though.




I watched The Blind Side again today (4.75/5), I've moved it up to my #3 for 2009.

Will be watching The Proposal later.

Thats cool. I've never ever read the spoilers no matter the hype. It just shows how bad you wanted to see it. Any who its all good you just missed out on a good one.

Just make sure you never say that it was good or bad.

i didn't read all about it because i really wanted to see it. i read about because i already decided i wasn't gonna be watching it anytime soon - if ever. and for me personally, i can't really judge how much hype a film has because i don't pay attention to films while in theaters or read reviews until the blu-ray comes out, so i have no idea what it was like when Inception hit theaters, just now that it's out that people are freaking out over owning all 236384349463 different versions of it lol

and i'll remember that.

it is the first film though that i can put on my newest list though, my official: "no interest in seeing it but thought i would" list

It isnt hookers that he has a problem with. But we have been down this road before, and he refuses to acknowledge that he has a problem.
