I looked at your Iron Man gallery too... did you actually pick that off the shelves or did you buy that on ebay?

i picked it of the shelf opening morning at my target the inglourious basterd poster has sentimental value to me it was the last movie me and my father got to see together we went to a midnight showing on opening day he reall wanted to see it since he was a war vet he liked war movies so i took him 8 hrs later he passed away so i have been tring to collect all i can from the movie the british quad i have actually has the date he passed and the others have the year tring as we speak to get the steelbook versions out there but they are cool posters my favorte is the bat and helmet

Sorry for your loss. On a positive note you guys got to share a truly kick-ass movie together. Watching it must be really special for you. Have you seen Tyler Stout's poster for it? If not you need it!

In redoing the house me and my boyfriend are renting we have a small long hallway which are my movie poster walls. So far I have planned to get Avatar(mostly blue) and The Karate Kid(2010) mostly red. I think they will look good together colorwise. Also I want a reprint of The Ghost And Mr. Chicken.

Last night I bought the Pulp Fiction framed poster from Blockbuster. Its the one that has the asian writing on it.

Sure! Unfortunately Stout's out of print posters get pricier by the day. Ebay had one last time I checked. The run was 450 copies I believe.

Yikes that's pretty expensive! I looked on expressobeans and a few people have one for sale. One of their active members has a Basterds listed for $400.

I honestly wish it was $40 and you could pick one easily since the movie means so much to you.

Hell at that price I'd pick one up for me too.

Cool! btw- mondo tees/alamo drafthouse has Star Wars series going with different posters from all of today's hottest artists. It's been running a few months now. Tyler Stout was announced as one of the artists way back so if you like the movies and his work be sure to try and grab one. I think they're saving his piece for last.

There's been loads of great posters so far. I was able to grab Rhys Coopers "Salacious B. Crumb" and today nabbed Daniel Danger's "Sanctuary Moon". Bingo!

The metallic inks on this thing are ridiculous:

Thanks for the appreciation and rating; I've been collecting movie stuff since 1979. Besides Alien and other movie posters, I have a really large notebook full of autographed star photos.

Yes, there was the standard and the variant. The Mondo prints are quite affordable when they are first released, and then they increase in price. In my opinion Stout's best poster is for John Carpenter's The Thing. His Alamo posters sell out in seconds, so when they offered, you better be in front of your computer because they really go that fast.

His Iron Man 2 one was amazingly detailed, including the very rare metal version, which was printed on an actual sheet of metal and limited to only 65 pieces. I have one, and it's really a treat to look at.
