For those interested in Fight Club, Reznor has said that David Fincher once approached him about doing music for a stage show adaptation.

I agree with dobyblue about the Pretty Hate Machine remaster, it's alright but could have used a little more dynamic range, and something weird happened with "Sanctified" because the bridge and ending are very slightly different than what was originally released in 1989. Still dig the bonus Queen cover "Get Down Make Love" though, and always did! ![]() Actually, someone on the nin.com forums was going around telling people that the 2010 vinyl reissue of PHM had more dynamic range, but close inspection of a 24-bit digital rip reveals that it's just as limited as the CD. Likely pressed from a 24-bit source, though, so it might offer an upgrade if you like having vinyl. It's really great to hear that Alan Moulder is re-creating the album in 5.1, I look forward to hearing the finished product in whatever form it takes! |
