not sure why people always get hung up on a high price way before its release. prices always come down, how much it depends. with disney movies, history has shown that its best to buy at local stores with a printed disney coupon which will bring it to less than 20. sometimes 15 sometimes 17, again, it depends. ignore the prices and be patient. perhaps amazon will do something similar with this release like they did with bambi. so far bambi is costing me 14.99 at amazon and tangled cost me 11.99 ($10 credit i forgot about they gave me for giving me inaccurate description via email for an item i kept. item was worth it either way. so 21.99 for a 3d- 4 disc set isnt bad.).

so the cars re-release on blu as a combo pack drops the same day as the inredibles. anyone else think toys r us or somewhere else will have the "buy both and get 10 dollars off" promo they normally have? add that with the inevitable 10 dollars MFG coupon for incredibles and possibly a 10 dollar MFG coupon for the cars re - release and thats 30 bucks off right there! i know thats why happened at toys r us with ts1 and ts2 releases. 10 dollars store coupon for buying both, and then 2 10 dollar coupons for each ts. that was a heck of a deal!
then again, i cant exactly count on a new 10 dollar coupon for the cars re release, but who knows right? |

I believe those great deals at TRU are over. Disney deals seemed to have hit a brick wall once TS3 came out. Even with a $5 deposit down at TRU it was cheaper to fore go the deposit and buy from Target or BB. Too bad as I've had many great deals fro TRU on Disney blu-ray movies.

Who knows how much it will actually drop, but a price anywhere between $25-$27 seems like a reasonable guess. That is before factoring in the Disney coupon that will be released for this like all other Disney releases. In the end, this will be under $20 for the first week when factoring in that coupon. |

There is a solution to this, if you think the price is too extravagant for you then wait for it to drop before you buy it. But if you really want to own the movie then you'll buy it whatever the price. If you don't have the money then just rent it or you could buy a used copy at ebay.

I personally am NOT paying 30 bucks for movies that should be 20. I will further add that this DVD/BR combo could cut its price if they only sold the BR. I have absolutely zero use for the Digital Copy or the DVD version. I hate how these companies force you to buy extra things you dont want in order to get the thing you DO want, and then charge more for it.
