If that is true, she should be fired. There is this little thing called due dillegence. She should have contacted Sony and WB for their comment on a competing studio's comments on their numbers. There was not even a "Sony and WB could not be reached for comment." This was shoddy reporting. I have seen more professionalism in high school newspapers and supermarket tabloids. Unless this publication wants to become thought of in the same category as the Weekly World News, they will make sure their writers follow at least the most basic tenets of journalism. I think people should complain to their advertisers as well as to the editor.

As a dyslexic person I take exception to this. Regardless of what grief or heartburn this article may have caused you, it is just a misprint. It happens all the time. It is also not only her fault, their should have been a copy editor or someone who should have caught the error. Just calm down.

This has nothing to do with dyslexia. The reporter did not balance her research.

I doubt its a misprint. Its the opening paragraph that still gets me

"Fourth-quarter HD DVD releases The Bourne Ultimatum and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix are outpacing or at least matching the pace of similarly high-profile Blu-ray titles, according to Universal Studios Home Entertainment and other industry research sources"

She then goes on to state "Additionally, notes Universal research, Warner Home Video’s HD DVD release of Order of the Phoenix is nearly even with sales of its BD version, managing a 45 to 55 ratio"

Thats just stupidity. Guess M$ employ a lot of stupid people!

Thats just rediculous. There are certain conditions or handicaps that stop you from doing certain jobs effectivly. If you are working with words and numbers all day, and you give out false info (even if not intentianal) you should have enough brains to get a job that suites you better. Thats like a fat person working at a buffet and eating all the shit up all day, then when they get fired they say.. "I take offense." Sorry, I know in America your not supposed to say too damn bad anymore but if you are offended because someone suggested the woman be fired because she obviously is not performing properly "TOO DAMN BAD."

BTW I am fat, and if my buffet annalogy offended you... well get a grip.
