My wife, who really just humors me when it comes to horror movies really enjoyed the series, as did I.
The Walking Dead on Amazon (Blu-ray version) is $27.99 shipped. Sadly, there i tax here for me in Washington State since Amazon is based here. I think the lowest I saw it was $24.99 on there at one time. Maybe it will come down even more by the time it is released. I may just rent it though. But hey you guys in Canada have it quite good with Alien Anthology on Blu-ray at Costco, its $49.99 Canadian there, its still about $90-$100 here at Best Buy.

Try contacting the artist directly Technique (and Roar), he may have some Artist Proof versions available. They are the same print, but they are not numbered out of the 94 as the others were, instead they state "AP" and are signed and some could consider them rarer, but I think most collectors would want the numbered versions, but still, to others the artist proofs are more collectible. Anyways, check with him, he seems like a nice guy too, but can take a few days to get back to you as he does work full time. His price was $50 shipped, I was able to get one, not sure how many he has, probably only a few and it is one per customer. He may be sold out though by now.

I am so ready to see Scream 4. The new poster they have on IMDB is wonderful. I wish the poster with the smoke in the shape of the mask came out.

To answer your question snsguy, I really have just started out. I have the Blade Runner Final cut poster, all of the Dark Knight posters, all of the Watchmen posters and the poster for Zodiac. I should have the Sucker Punch poster coming to me any day now.

That new Scream 4 one is very cool and reminds me of the original Halloween poster a little. I have the first one they released with the front view of ghostface and really want this one now. I see it's already going for upwards of $30 on ebay so gonna keep looking around.

For the record (and this is for anyone reading this that is curious), for Blade Runner: Final Cut there was only one style made, originals came in the form of double-sided (which are extremely rare) since the film was only originally intended to screen in two theaters (one in Los Angeles and one in New York) for the 25th anniversary so not many double-sided posters were made, but then demand was so great, they expanded the screenings to another dozen cities. There are also single-sided originals too, and yes, there are reproductions and knock-off's out there too so be careful. The paper stock on the double-sided ones are a tad bit thicker than the single-sided ones, but for the record, both double and single-sided originals exist.

Also, there was a San Diego Comic-Con mini-version that was made that featured the credits placed differently and a pink neon signature on the poster. Those were 11x17 inches I believe and were basically handed out at the San Diego Comic-Con that year. So if you see 27x40 inch posters being sold claiming they are originals with that pink signature, then they are fakes.

For The Dark Knight's original 2008 release there were two advance styles made, and two final styles made. There was also the "wilding" style but that poster was NOT part of the theatrical marketing campaign meaning it wasn't a poster that was seen in theaters. They were studio-issued though and original, but they only came single-sided, thus, easily for people to reprint and sell as originals so be careful when dealing with that style. The "wilding" style featured the Batman chest-high close-up image made from Joker cards.

In January 2008, The Dark Knight was re-released in theaters for a pre-Oscar push, and a new double-sided poster was released for it. It is the rarest of any of the Dark Knight originals, and featured the same artwork as the above "wilding" style but added the credits to the poster, were double-sided, and featured a movie critic's quote at the top about the film. I need to figure out how to add images here and then I can start putting up the real stuff here to help people out.

Watchmen had two advance styles and one final style. They also had an IMAX style, all four posters featured different artwork, the IMAX style being the rarest of them all.

This would be the Original "wilding" that was not released in theaters that you refer to. Not the Oscar "wilding". It's my favorite poster I own thus far, though my collection is small.

That's a cool poster! I don't have that one, but I do have the others! This may have been discussed elsewhere in this forum, but how does everyone store their posters. I want to store mine flat but have yet to find an economical way to do so!

Default True Grit Posters

I have frames coming tomorrow for two True Grit posters. I also had an artist commission this drawing for me. I think it turned out pretty cool.

All on eBay... two different sellers. Just do a seach on "DS movie poster" and have at it, lol...

TIP: Most eBay sellers give you a discount on shipping for additional posters, usually for just an extra dollar or $1.50 each, so I always go into their eBay stores or additional auctions page, and try to buy 3 or 4 posters at a time from any given seller to get a better shipping rate per poster. $6 or $7 shipping for a single, individual poster really adds up fast, sometimes more than the poster costs itself...

I ended my Mondo drought today. Haven't scored since I flubbed up on Olly Moss' Star Wars prints.

Got me some Steamboat Willie! 18x24 Tom Whalen 200 copies metallic ink.
