How many people are actually buying it because they actually have a 3DTV and plan to watch it in 3D, or plan to get one down the road, and are actually interested in 3D.... as opposed to how many people bought it because the coupon technically was for the 4-disc combo pack (even though Target was allowing it to be used on the 2-disc set as well) and/or because they also wanted the digital copy. If there was no coupon at all... or if there was an equivelant coupon specific to the 2-disc version that could be easily used at any store, how many people would have still paid the extra $ for the 3D pack? I'm not knocking 3D here... I just really want to know how many people are buying it for that reason. The problem with situations like this is that by having a coupon like this, prompting people to get the more "premium" version, it doesn't really give Disney an accurate indication of how many people actually have true interest in 3D. |
