Maybe I'm wrong here, but wouldn't the programming be set in a manner that identifies the item that the coupon corresponds to? If I were to go to Target and grab a 24-pack of Pepsi, take it to the counter, have them scan it, and then hand them a coupon for Tangled, even if the cashier didn't pay attention to what the coupon was for, I would expect the computer to reject it. Am I wrong on this? In this day and age of technology, I would think it would be programmed this way. |
