I went to the Diamondbacks home opener Friday against the Reds. I'd never been to Chase Field before but it's a really nice stadium. It's got a very good food selection and some cheap stuff as well like $1.50 hot dogs and $4 beers (although the $4 beers were very small). We bought our tickets on Stubhub the day before the game and were able to get seven fifth row right field bleacher tickets for $28 each, which I thought was reasonable for opening day. Below are some pictures I took, although the quality isn't great because my Blackberry doesn't have a very good camera.

Hopefully I'll get to see Jeter's 3,000th hit. Although if he doesn't start heating up I think it will take him until July to reach it lol.

I don't hate the Yankees more than I like the Twins, I just hate the Yankees. You would too if they took your team out of the post-season every single year.

Meh the Twins just need to handle their business and start batting better and they'll move up the standings. Handle your business and you don't need to worry about how the other teams in your division are doing. That said, hoping we take this upcoming series with the Royals, a sweep would be nice.

I root for the Braves first and whoever is playing the Yankees, second. I will never forgive them for pushing Don Mattingly out the door into early retirement, right as the team was finally good enough to win a World Series.

They didn't push capt out. He gave the team his blessing to pursue a 1B (which ended up being Tino Martinez). He realized that his back couldn't take it anymore (even though he had a great playoff in 95).

That's annoying to watch. On another note, we took out another ace today. This one being in the form of Justin Verlander. We didn't beat him by any means but we just keep chugging along. Here we come 140 wins
