Even DVD collections are virtually given away these days.
Haha, yea..I could sell them. But then how long would i have to get them on blu. So far i've spent 250 dollars for 14 movies and my players.( Thanks to the xbox add on on sale for 130 with free movies and all the bogo's). I just enjoy having my universal and paramounts to wait on them. You know? If you look at it that way. That hd dvd is going to be worth crap one day, like vhs ( which it will). Blu ray will also be worth crap one day, once a better format comes out in maybe 5 or 10 years.(Ultra Hi-Blu Ray or something). So really I just look at it as Im making an investment either way for my enjoyment. Wether its blu ray or hd dvd if you hold on to it long enough its not going to be worth much but you will have gotten that enjoyment out of it. my .2 cents

...

I am new here

I just became purple. I just picked up the panny at BB

too many exclusive movies on blu ray. and the Warner thing. I can't hold out any longer.

I still support HD DVD.
Betray away .

... Of course you could look at it differently. HD-DVD betrayed YOU by persuading you to adopt technology that was patently inadequate for todays needs. HD-DVD is not the victim... You are!!!

Congratulations on your purchase. I am glad to see you were not one of the folks claiming HD-DVD or downloads. I am sure you will be very happy with your decision. Hell you can now watch Pixar and Buena Vista which have dont some great movies!

Enjoy the uncompressed sountracks!!

Smile Welcome!

Those are some good movies. I have every one of them!

Also, in time you will enjoy the Panny. It does everything very well and I am still impressed by its picture quality and speed.

you made the best choice with that Panny BD30 (as long as you have a receiver HDMI 1.3), I would always suggest the Panny or the PS3, but to most HD-DvD supporters the PS3 is the
Anti-Christ !!! Now start buying some movies, you will be amazed at what movies look like in REAL HI-DEF

I just knew that this thread was going to get a lot of response. I follow everybody's motion and welcome to the forum and to the blu-ray experience. I notice that you took advantage of the 5 instant blu-ray movie offer with the purchase of a player (Best Buy)? Have fun!

Well, I am not sure what type of secretive information we have in the forum that HD dVD would need a spy to get The guy appears to be honest, who cares that he still has HD DVD movies?
