**Also, I don't know what you guys are on about. This show has always been a slow burn, with wonderfully tense buildup to some of the "more exciting" scenes. Its great story telling and allows the relatively small focus story to be more impactful and the characters to carry more weight, because we know them so well and because we actually have some contrast in pacing. Rather than the mile-a-minute, broad focus, "blockbuster" pace that many other now cancelled shows have tried to keep up. Now THOSE are the boring shows, because we can't possibly care about much of it.

I'm just getting tired of them acting as if they need to waste good minutes on unimportant stuff like its season one and we have time(if this really is the season before the last this is how you want to spend it with episodes where they maybe have 10 minutes of good dialogue and more time devoted to Hanks struggles which we already got great insight into in season 3).. Again I hope it'll be like dexter season four where its very slow and just goes nuts with goodness. But if not oh well. It's still decent enough given its the only thing on right now I just expected more given 1-3.

UPDATE: There's been so much debate in the comments about who called Walt - Gus or Mike - that I went and asked Vince Gilligan. I don't view his answer as any kind of spoiler (as it's info from an episode that's already aired), but in case you do, don't read the next short paragraph:

So as it turns out, it wasn't Mike. And it wasn't Gus. It was, instead, the new third man in the operation, Tyrus (played by Ray Campbell), whom we saw earlier weighing the batch. And that explains why no one could agree on whether it was Esposito's voice or Banks's voice, I suppose.

I laughed at Sepinwall's reference to Parks and Rec, because ever since that episode aired I cannot see a Roomba, without yelling excitedly 'DJ Roomba' and that made me laugh even more this week because he was at the center of an all out non-stop party and it made me cry a lonely tear for the memory of DJ Roomba.

Well this isn't one of those "BIG" shows with huge story arcs and tons of ground to cover. I mean something LOST, yeah, that needed time. A lot more time than they gave it. In the end they had to gloss over stuff and writer characters out of character just to get stuff done in time.

But Breaking Bad is a smaller show and with the point its at, I can totally see them continuing to take great care with the writing and pacing and still finish it up nice in Season 5. and if they really need it, they could always order a few more episodes in Season 5. Breaking Bad has always had fairly short seasons, which again points to how small focus the show is.

I think you guys are misunderstanding me here. Everything about Season 2 was awesome. Even the climactic episode where they finally show us what the significance of the pink bear is. Everything except that one thing that happened. I'm not upset about being tricked (?) I'm generally not the type to try and read ahead anyways. the foreshadowing was great and all the stuff in the episode was great, but that one big moment, that odds defying impossible moment, that was ridiculous for any show, way out of "character" for Breaking Bad, jumping the shark. And they literally bury those events in looneyness throughout season 3.

Its the only heavy handed, perplexing writing choice in the entire series. Its ok, I give it a pass. The fact that people want to defend this show to the last little flaw is a testament to how great it is. I'm not trying to slam the show here. and I in fact enjoy very much how they swept it under the rug with a chuckle.

Maybe I'm "Misremembering" but didn't Walt or Skyler or someone make reference to planes flying over them before that?

There wasn't anything "supernatural" about it, the debris landed all over Albuquerque. The writers have not been making jokes about it and mocking it, you just perceived them that way.
