Very cool... I didnt know kinsella had the batman poster already, good to know. Looking forward to see what you are going to do with your stout. I got one too but I've got 3 prints that need framing so i'm several months out from investing in that ATM.

Right now the plan for the stout is to hang it in a deluxe frame from hollywoodposterframes.com. It has a nice 1-inch aluminum frame, acid-free archival backing, and non-glare UV filtered plexi for about $100. I'll put a pic up when I get it on the wall. |

I like that you guys in here seem to actually buy the posters to enjoy in your own house, and aren't this a$$holes hocking these posters on ebay because you like raping people for money. I have a huge prob with the people who buy anything just to resell it immediately and never have the want or intent to enjoy it.
BTW this isn't a rant just because I didn't get a poster and I'm crying, I just think it's a shame for the people that like a certain movie and want to buy a poster that they are denied because of money grubbing c*@#s ![]() Last edited by bmogav; 08-04-2011 at 11:09 PM. |

Mondo just needs to raise the prices of their posters and make as many as customers are willing to buy over a certain time period. Maybe a day instead of 22 seconds. |

If I were you I would just buy the poster and frame it with a Trend Setters (when on sale or use the weekly 40% 0ff coupon) frame from Michaels. If you wanted to you can buy an acid free mat to use as a backer. Or you can order a frame and materials from Frame Fit or Graphic Dimmensions and frame it yourself if your up to it. Thats my view any way. Though I should say if I were buying one of the collectable posters some of these other guys are buying, I could see getting it framed professionally.

Regarding moviegoods.com, caveat emptor. As Kinsella stated here and in other posts, their "reprints" can be shoddy. I wished I had read this thread a few months ago when I ordered a couple of posters from them. With the larger of the two, you could see the banding that appears sometimes when you print solid colors from an inkjet printer. With the other poster, they didn't even bother trimming off the large white border at the bottom that was another dead giveaway that it was produced using a computer printer and not a printing press.
