After an 85/15 week, I don't think their marketing is working.
No. People are not dumb. Toshiba is using this as a way to make leverage to negotiate with Sony later. Plus they are advertising them more as upconverters and less as HD players. Everyone knows WB is Blu now, and that Blu has won. HD DVD can not come back from this anymore.
We just need to see the retailers start putting pressure on Paraversal to join Blu or risk not selling any HD content on their stores.
