Oh I agree there. I think everyone watching the game does. At the very least they should have stopped it after the first inning instead of going another half inning through pouring rain.

On the positive side we got Fister going tonight, Verlander game 3 at home and Fister again Game 5 so its not as if were screwed totally. Im just upset that these calls seem to be made by 5 year olds when the common sense thing to do was just wait 30 minutes to see what the weather did.

Tonight its the same forecast, which sucks, both Yankees Tigers games SHOULD have been moved to the 5pm slot due to weather, and the Texas games moved to 840 just because of how much warmer it is down there.

Its sad that everything is revolved around the money because that's why these teams are playing at the time they are. Yankees are to big a draw to have a 5pm game.

The question is Wingman are you a baseball fan or a yankees fan, because if its the first one then even you would be saying for them to move times and just start the game from the top of the 2nd inning. I dont know many Yankees fans that will be calling for a restart of the 2nd inning as many around the league are.

Now its a 6-3 lead after another home run. The cards were doing so well. But after Freese missed that easy catch, everything has went downhill.

We've had some of the worst weather this baseball season in NY. Low and behold, it's raining again here. The tarp has just been put on the field.

I highly doubt it. If this does keep up, it's could give the winner of the Rangers/Rays series some long rest.

It does seem that way. A few weeks ago the hurricane was headed towards me and my company was making plans to relocate our office to NYC temporarily. Instead Irene wound up hitting New York instead of Florida and NY has had weird weather ever since. This series is going to be a real mess if this one gets called off too. Radar for NYC looks like it'll clear up eventually though.

Where did the commish state no Double headers, cause if it gets rained out they have to play 2 games back to back in order to get it back on schedule here.

How would you get around multiple rain outs then? It's very unlikely to happen but I'm not sure how you could get around a double-header under such a scenario.
