In the case of these sets, it's not like you can't also get them individually, if that's what you prefer; each film might even be individually packaged within each set for all we know, like Fox and Universal often does. If it encourages adoption of the format or helps more people to upgrade their dvds to high def, I'm all for it, just as long as it's still three discs rather than three movies, with or without extras, crammed onto a single disc, which is what's implied by the single disc sticking out of the side on the promo art.

I'm sure it's 3 discs. Warner is way too lazy to re-encode all those movies.
