Had a lot of good laughs last night. If anyone can break Sheldon down into having sex - it's gotta be Amy. I just have this feeling like she will push too hard and it will cause a rift in their friendship, Penny and Leonard will have to fix Shamy's relationship and at the season finale they will leave it a cliffhanger of "did they/didn't they" sleep together then on next season premiere we find out Sheldon couldn't go through with it.

I just hope Stewart's fill in doesn't show up again. It felt like I was watching a Disney Channel show when he was on.

Where it has been my entire life is beyond me. I started watching repeats and then had an almost completely consecutive episode marathon this past week and yet I am still watching the repeats on television every time they air.

I even went into the dark regions of the internet to find the unaired original pilot.

Basically the same 2 main characters and a "katy" (before penny)...a girl in the dumps that they let stay over and it turns out she doesn't leave. No Raj or Howard, just another scientist friend who is a woman. Plus they had Sheldon INTO women.

Never knew anything about this @ all.

I googled it last night and saw a 3 min. clip from another pilot.

Sheldon the way he is currently is def. the way to go!!

Loved the girls plot, but thought the boys fell a bit short. Wish Netflix would start showing this. Hopefully once I'm done with HIMYM it will be.

I am only a casual viewer of this show, and it's one of the better sitcoms to come along in years, but in my opinion the show would be a flop if it wasn't for the Sheldon character.

The show itself is mildly amusing, but Sheldon makes me literally laugh out loud. I hope they don't ruin his character.

That's my point. It's been good for 100 episodes with Sheldon being the same character, but things can change.

Ratings could start to sag, and some idiot in the network boardroom convinces the show's writers to turn Sheldon into a "ladies man" (or a jock or something) for the next season.

Have you ever seen a favorite TV show start to go downhill and become a parody of itself? It happens a lot, and it's a sad thing to witness. I really hope this show doesn't do that.

The laugh track is still killing me. Like in "Nobel Prize acceptance ceremony streaming live from Stockholm", sorry but there was nothing funny in that sentence, no need for canned laughter.

Live audience, not canned. Its on the bonus features. And the set is extremely intimate. The audience is right on top of the actors.

I'm a somewhat newcomer to The Big Bang theory, I missed the first session altogether, caught the last part of session 2 and have watched ever since. I'm going to get the passed sessions on blu.
