The only place that I can find a decent selection is Future Shop. Just picked up the Gary Moore(Phil Lynott tribute) on Blu-ray for $11.99 and The Police Certifiable Blu-ray for $24.99.....both are great!!

This probably gets more consistent play than any other concert I own

I own a few but the one I really recommend is Metallica Live in Nimes France, everything AQ and PQ is just great and of course The Police Certifiable is just great quality.

Damn, this was a Gary Moore tribute to the late Phil Lynott, now Gary Moore has sadly pased away this month. I hope he gets a tribute concert, he certainly deserves it. RIP Gary Moore.

Well...a few of his concerts were released by Eagle Vision for reg DVD, so hopefully they will pump out a blu-ray. I have a crap load of Gary Moore on dvd, but the quality isn't amazing. Shame he passed so young.

Just watched the Bad Company "Hard Rock Live" blu-ray. The PQ in 1080i is'nt the greatest but the AQ fares much better. A good performance altough guitarist Mick Ralphs looks a bit tired during the performance, but played well, and is supplimented by ex Heart axeman Howard Leese. Drummmer Simon Kirke as always, is in top form, and there's Paul Rodgers belting them out and playing piano on a couple of track as well a acoustic guitar on "Seagull". Sad that Boz Burrell paseed away before this concert, they do "Gone, Gone, Gone" in his memory.
Well worth 13 bones and some change that I payed for it, not to mention I comes with CD of the concert as well for good measure.

Would really like to see "The Merchants Of Cool" concert from the early 2000's get a blu-ray release, my DVD gets popped into the player every so often.

Out of the few BD concerts I have. I regularly watch Bon Jovi Live at MSG, Justin Timberlake Live at MSG, and Linkin Park Live at Milton Keyes. The Rolling Stones Shine A Light usaully makes it into the player every 6-8 weeks.

I've been meaning to pick up this title but the not so flattering reviews on the vid stalls it for me. There were also complaints about the lack of a bottom end on the audio too. Rodgers is such a smooth singer... Eventually I will add this to my collection.

I dont know who thru that nonsense.. The Bad Company BD at Hard Rock....Rocks. Not enough bass?... Dude its Rock, not Hip Hop. Dont listen to them. Its a great Disk. The sound is very good in my opinion. How many of the really good classic vintage straight up rock bands have anything decent available in way of audio? I'm real happy I at least have this. As a musician (ok hack) I say they dont pull any punches. They are full tilt, straight up rock, giving it their all. No overdubbed lip syncing, voice enhanced, pitch correction american idol crap. Dudes on a stage playing real instrements, covering songs they wrote, giving it their all, at this stage in their lives. Its awesome.

I put this in the top ten of my concert collection. Foo, KOL, Chris Botti in Boston, Police, T.L. live and dangerous, ...its up there!

I'm about to purchase these titles and would like to get your thoughts if they are indeed worthy additions to my BD Concert collection:

Bon Jovi: Live at Madison Square Garden
Elton John: Elton 60 - Live At Madison Square Garden
Ricky Martin: Live - Black and White Tour
Queen: Rock Montreal & Live Aid
Michael Jackson: This Is It
Toto - Live in Amsterdam: 25th Anniversary
Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire: Live at the Greek Theatre
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same
Stevie Wonder: Live at Last

Of the ones you've listed I have the Elton John & the Led Zeppelin. The Elton John concert is very good. His voice is showing his age as he can't hit the highest notes anymore but I really enjoyed this one. The Led Zeppelin is also very good. I personally don't like the "Knights In Shining Armor" scenes and fast forward through them to get to the concert footage. The concert footage makes it worth having for me.

I have the Queen and Led Zeppelin, and I like them both quite a bit. I would recommend getting Toto - Falling in Between instead of Live in Amsterdam. It has a better video quality, high-def audio while the Amsterdam show has worse video quality and worse lossy audio. Falling in Between is a great show. One of my best friends has it, and I just ordered it last night.
