Right now I currently have a Bose speaker system, but will be upgrading the speaker system as well. I will more than likely upgrade to a high end polk audio system. That's where I'm leaning anyway...

Do you like your TV? I have the same one, but I am not satisfied with it sometimes for my Blu Ray and PS3 viewing. What do you think? I have HDMI MONSTER CABLE iam using...

Have you calibrated your TV? Out of the box vivid settings look like shit on these TVs playing Blu-Rays. I have a last years model of the V series and love it.

I've been looking at this thread for some time now. Will post my pics sometime soon, but I've been seeing Martin Logan speakers. I've never seen them. Are they top of the line speakers? How much are they? Just wondering.

They sell Martin Logans at Magnolia HiFi out here on the West coast and they are very expensive....but they sound fantastic hooked up to amps that will drive them.

This is a great thread and thought I would throw in a few pictures of my system. I just added Klipsch Quintet III's for the surrounds a few months back and they sound great.

I've only had it for 2 days. I like it... alot.

but, it needs to calibrated.... I rented a calibration DVD from netflix last week and I'm still waiting on it to arrive. So when it finally gets here I'll spend some time fine tuning it.

only thing i intend to keep in my home theater setup are the ps3 and other game systems everything else will be upgraded once i move, i will be starting school soon and my dad and i are finishing the basement so i have a place to live while i go to school, my parents gave me permission to put in a home theater so i am going to put in an hd70 front projector an onkyo 705 or 805 and b&w 600 series speakers.

You'll be really happy with the new B&W 600 series speakers..... and you can't beat the price!

I first had the VSX-91TXH and then decided to get the VSX-92TXH. I wanted a little more power, upscale 1080P option, and an extra HDMI input. The VSX-91TXH just sits there. I plan on putting that guy in the living.

I wish my home theatre room was bigger so that I can really go all out but hey, it does the job fine.

You should really put your speakers on the wall at ear level....those are WAY TOO HIGH..

EDIT *** nevermind... I just read the Sig!!! sorry.

Love the 800's..... was going that direction, but couldn't get approval to spend the $$ !!!! What do you use for the surrounds???? I run the 705's, HTM7, and use the new 685's for the surrounds. I would love the DS7s.....

Nice set up though for sure!!!!

It would be nice to get rid of the wires. I can't do it for my speaker cable, but for the 15-pin computer cable and HDMI cable, maybe I'll run them behind the wall.

My HTM1 center is left over from when I had N802s. It's a great center, but I want the HTM1D which is a closer match to the 802Ds. Of course, the HTM1D is the size of small car, and I can't afford it right now. It's a floor stander (sitter?).
