How many of you buy because renting HD is so expensive?

I'm pretty much right on the edge of canceling my Netflix subscription. Their Blu-ray support pretty much sucks . . . I tried the Blockbuster online deal and that was worse. I have a Blockbuster right down the street from me, but I hate going there because it's always busy and the staff is slow as hell.

I always gather as much information as possible before making a blind buy and only have one movie that I've been pretty disappointed in. If it wasn't worth the purchase, most Blu-ray's can be sold for enough that it basically costs you a rental fee.
