Love that Maniac Cop! That'll look nice next to Dream Warriors.

Did you grab them from ebay? If that's the set you got did you know the sellers dirty secret? well not really a secret anymore.

That "seller" on eBay in question also has a Stout "Thing" but isn't going to part with it from what I have heard. He probably won't part with the Ansin Phantom of the Opera variant that he got from me back in 2010 either.

Speaking of The Thing, I received last week John Carpenter's The Thing and Big Trouble In Little China. Can't wait to get them framed.

Kinsella5 - any word on more The Dark Knight Rises posters? I have the first 2 compliments of you. WB planning to release a couple more. So far there are 4 official for each movie so I was expecting at least 2 more for TDKR...

There's one for the vertical and another for the horizontal. I just used the hooks that could sustain 10lbs was about $1.50 comes with like 10 which you can find in the hardware department.

each frame should have the lil metal part with ridges on there. Look like lil teeth. Bend them forward a little.. and use the hooks to mount it.

Bulldog hooks

they have different weight limits on each package. I just get the ones that could hold 10lbs. I just checked they're .97cents

lol. Well as you can see from the picture. There's 2 holes to sustain the nail. The nail goes through the 2 holes into the wall at an angle. Making it so that the hook sticks out and the ridges of the hook on the frame catch on. Do you see the nail through the hook in the photo?

Very simple. Takes seconds to do.

They do and i wouldn't recommend using them as i found out the hard way...they don't look like they would do damage but take them out and you'll have a sizable hole left.

I'm not sure how thick the size of the nail you were using but all of mine are very thin nails that hardly make any visible markings on the wall. I've removed quite a few and you can hardly tell the hole is visible.

My best guess is there will be four total posters for Dark Knight Rises, if they follow the same marketing pattern as the previous two films, there should technically be a third poster out in late March or early April. That could be the first final style or a third advance style, following by the fourth style in late May or early June. Hard to say but I would estimate a new trailer and poster should hit in about six to seven weeks.

Technically for the domestic release of The Dark Knight there five theatrical styles not four. Four styles for the original release in 2008, and the fifth style was the 2009 re-release style which is quite rare. An image is below of it, they were only for the January 2009 re-release and because the re-release was limited to a small amount of theaters for a short time, there weren't many produced compared to the original 2008 styles. Its the same artwork found on the "wilding" style, but these featured the credits and were double-sided, the "wilding" style wasn't for theatrical promotion and were produced only single-sided.

Always use TWO per poster at the top when hanging a framed poster. I don't recommend just one, some like to do that but I have found that two adds more support and keeps the frame straighter. Always best to be safe than sorry so I always use two.

I think it is because the image you posted makes it look like the nails are really daggers. LOL! Those are fine for using, they don't damage the walls at all.

You can always patch the holes with a ready-made mixture, you can find it at Home Depot, etc. and then once it dries, light sand it down and put a tab of paint and it will look just fine.

problem is the type of frame he's using doesn't offer the 2 hook option.
And the only reason I used those pictures cause he said that my other photo was low quality.. So I had to use a bigger picture.. Lol
