I am sure it was a site error when they listed the size or was an early estimate on their part, if you got it from Mondo, you know its legit.

Ansin Tron and Legacy posters came in today...couldn't really capture the glow very good so i had to just take some regular pics but the Tron one seems to look the best in the dark and the Legacy best in light. The varnish finish on the Legacy is amazing in person and Ansin just keeps putting out high quality work.

That's some sexy artwork on those Ansin Trons. Can we get a GID shot? Very nice!

About that Thing poster...it's getting harder and harder to get one. I'd settle for a trimmed one but not for that much! I guess back then there was no way these people could have known these posters would end up being so hot. Trim it, throw it in a frame and slap it on the wall.

Now there's maniacs out there stockpiling posters they don't even want in flat files and acid free hyperbaric chambers.

My Walking Dead set came in today. i dont have the frames yet, but i looked at the number i got, and its 40 out of "Blank" LOL I forgot the total.

Once the Frames come in, Ill post some pics.

The seller needs to be more realistic on his starting bid, highly unlikely that a trimmed down version will fetch a starting bid of $2000+. If it does, it just bumps the original unaltered ones up even more in value. If the seller started it at $999.99, he would create more buzz and probably get more bids but trying to get $2800.00 Buy it Now is asking way too much. What I suspect will happen is someone will get all excited when they see it, use buy it now without reading the item description and then realize their mistake after they get it, and even though they failed to read the item description, Paypal and eBay will coddle the buyer as they generally do and force the seller to refund the money, etc. eBay stopped being a level playing field years ago....

I have been a member of ebay since highschool, but i have never sold anything. I have heard stories about buyers blaming sellers for things they didnt do and having to refund the money.

that doesn't happen much anymore. Buyers are not allowed to take retaliation on sellers anymore. before the buyer use to be able to give bad feedback to seller and vice versa.. But they've changed the rules up. I guess it's and sometimes bad. Like I hadn't sold an item on eBay in a few years. So I sold something and it turns out now.. You have to wait to get payment.. Until the item has arrived to the buyers house. Even then you still have to wait 3-5 business days to get the money from PayPal. You have to provide a tracking number..all in all it took me 23 days to get my money. And I needed quick cash..lol. wasnt worth the hassle for me. Especially since I needed money fast. Plus I had to pay the shipping. Which I later was reimburse for.. But if you have no money makes process long..

Kinsella you're absolutely right, he priced everyone out of it. Start it low. Put a few drops of blood in the water to get the piranhas schooling. Once they get a taste of a leg they won't be able to let up. ** Looks like he changed the description now to say it was trimmed.

LOL@ at Scrooge and Launcpad. I now have a visual of Scrooge diving through a pool of posters.

Ebay for sellers really sucks now. I hate using it. The way the payment and funds structure works there now is back assward. Plus these Paypal holds are effing brutal. I sold some stuff on message boards so there's nowhere to put a tracking number. Ended up waiting the full 21 days or whatever it is because they said "they reviewed my account and it appears I sell a lot of goods that are risky" or some shit like that. I have 100% feedback and never had a problem since 2000. LOL

Sorry for the rant.
Is there an option besides paypal?

I recently spent waaaaaay too much $ on posters. Part of the deal was quit my 2 six packs a week @ ~$10 a pop. At least until it adds up to what I paid for the one. I get a poster I want and a healthier body. win/win, right?

I MISS DRINKING !!!

I'm actually needing to start going to the ceiling now. All four of my walls are covered. Would the safest way to use poster sleeves and sticky tack, because I don't want to damage them and frames are probably out of the question.

LOL. Ya I've been trying to cut back a few things myself..to get more money for posters.. But then when I think about it.. And I want really expensive video equipment.. I hold back.. And don't save.. When I realize all in 2 weeks I've spent a total amount on posters..when I could of just saved a little more.. For a receiver :/ soo many things too get soo little money to spend. My priorities are a lil bit off lol.

I cut my cable lol that helped me out... I save about 120.00 a month there. Just use Netflix and Hulu..plus a few other things online.

Sounds like the best bet. You could also go a little bigger than the poster with the sleeve & backboard and just use a white thumb tack. I've seen large thick sleeves like the ones we used to keep single sports cards in. No backing required. Those could work too?

Ha! I hear ya. That cable cutting is a real good idea.

The nail is backwords in the pic... making it look a little harder then it would be if the nail were facing the right way

I have often been able to just push these nails into drywall, I wouldn't hang my current posters with those hooks as the glass on my make the picture too heavy. I use an actual anchor and screw.
