Oh, and it wasn't just one failed test. There was actually two completely different tests that were both failed. His ratio of synthetic to regular levels was 20 to 1. Normal humans are 1 to 1. TWENTY TO ****ING ONE. What a joke. Basically just got out of it with the later shipping date and his pretty little good good image. Might as well just get rid of this testing policy. It's probably the biggest joke in this whole scenario.

If what Lucas just posted is true, Braun will never be thought of in the same way...Ever.

Honestly Benny, I have concerns about our Big Stick (Jose Bautista). He's not that big (an inch shorter and 35 lbs lighter than me), and has pasted pitching for the last 2 seasons. Time will tell.

How? All the news being reported contradicts this in pretty much every way.

Also, I got those facts from various stories on ESPN, SI, and they just did an interview with scientists and legal analysts on OTL that said it's virtually impossible to have those results change once they are taken in. So he's almost guaranteed to have been on some type of steroid.

There's a big difference between not being suspended due to a technicality and being "clean." The test was sealed three times with tamper proof seals, was not tampered with and he came up positive. The test results were thrown out and suspension dropped, as is mandated by league rules due to that technicality. That being said it doesn't change the fact that he flunked the test badly and is in fact a cheater and a fraud who got REALLY lucky.

One crazy deal per year it seems from now on for the Nats. They refused to look at Werth's terrible RISP batting line last year when they gave him 126 million. He was awful last year.

I don't expect Zimmerman to be bad like Werth but just because your desperate to keep your star player doesn't mean you need to throw 100 million at him to keep him.

Braun got off through a loophole. This does not vindicate him and his acting like he's the victim only is making things worse and is driving MLB nuts because they know he's dirty. Trust me, this will never happen again.

lol Lerner is worth 3.6 billion, I'd rather see spending then non (orioles). Zim with help around him in the lineup is worth at least 70-80 million. Plus he was the franchises first star. I'm fine with him getting a little over par.

I think we'll be ok when that contract is worth less than .03% of his net worth.

And just for comparison sake Steinbrenner's net worth was estimated at 1.15

I'm so happy the Nationals are wasting all this money in huge contracts that will look silly in a couple of years. The Nationals got zero discount for signing him now and Zimmerman has had health issues the past two years.

It'll be interesting to see his stats this year. If he has a big drop off, we know why. If he has similar numbers, it will get VERY interesting.
