I am absolutely determined to get these prints today, I am refreshing like a madman. This will be a miracle if I pull it off as I have an 8-month old to keep an eye on all day as well

Did you get a standard or variant Allforce? If so "Congrats!" because I know you really wanted to get one. I myself overslept, simply was up too late.

It took five minutes for them to sell out of the standards? That is actually four minutes longer than I thought. I suspect the variant probably sold out much faster.

Looks like Sideshow collectibles is putting up the variant of Mickey's Service Station sometime today or the weekend. The tweet went out last night from Mondo but apparently they sent it out by accident and Sideshow wasn't ready to put it up just yet and sent out a tweet saying it was a mistake. I usually don't care for the sideshow variants minus the Steamboat Willie one but this is very nice.

I got the standard 3 poster set, I'm a sucker for posters that split across various prints. The variant was cool but I figured it would be much more cost effective to frame 3 18x24 prints vs finding 1 16x36 frame which I'm sure isn't too common.

Congrats again, I was going to try for the variant and then have Christopher Lloyd sign it later this month but I was up late working online and slept in.

Glad you got one and didn't have to resort to ebay.

The UPS guy came while I was home @ lunch.

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED! Never ever ever thought I would get my hands on one of these. It's trimmed but the only one I've found since last year in my price range. My wall will never know the difference.

It would not surprise me if Sideshow wasn't ready, their site has been down/having problems for the past day or so. So Mondo sends out a tweet for the Sideshow variants now? I was under the impression they just handled the standards and the variants that Sideshow produces are just even more random.

Wow, you found a Thing standard Stout???? I am curious what you paid for it, since you said it was trimmed you must have gotten a good deal. It's not that trimmed one on eBay is it? That guy was asking $2500 which is far too high in my opinion for a trimmed one, hopefully you got a really good deal on it. Congrats, that is THE holy grail of Mondo prints, and at the top of my want list too.

Thanks guys! Been talking to the local framer all week and seeing him tomorrow. Right off the bat the guy said "well you definitely don't want to drymount it" so I should be in good hands.

Kinsella, depends what you consider a good deal. lol. Nope not the ebay one.

Wow! That's going to look awesome! Where did you find it? I'd love to buy posters but 1) I want them to at least look OLD 2) I don't feel comfortable paying $100.

Well if you don't want to pay $100 you won't like what that poster goes for, it is >$2K IF you can find someone to sell it to you. Pretty much the most sought after Stout/Mondo print made.

Roar is exactly right, in mint condition this print can fetch $2500 easily, I would not be surprised if it fetches over $3000 by the end of 2012 since this year is the 30th anniversary of the film. To think nearly four years ago it's original price was only $40. The eyes of the infected also glow in the dark too. The variant was limited to 65 of them I believe, even more rarer but I think most like the colors on the standard edition.

Definitely going after that Mickey's Service Station poster. Though I'm not sure if I like the variant more then the original release back in 2011.
